Hi, I’m KC, the owner of Modern Muse Web Design and my studio is based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.

I’ve been designing web sites off & on since 1999 and have been designing for clients professionally since 2007.

My daughter is my Modern Muse. She inspires me daily to keep faith and reach for my goals. You’ve probably seen illustrations of her throughout this site since it’s lovingly dedicated to my quirky, energetic girl.

Certified in Web Design

After a year of in-class instruction, I successfully completed UNLV’s Internet Design & Technology Certificate Program.

I am not only qualified as a web designer, I have a formal education to back it up. Prior to becoming a web designer, I was a bean counter (believe it or not). I hold an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a MBA in General Business.

Suffice it to say that I’m knowledgable in many aspects of small business. My clients benefit because I’m always willing to share helpful tips & advice.

Personal Interests

I heart web design so much, sometimes I can’t wait to get home from vacation to get back to work! In my free time, you’ll find me reading up on all aspects of web development, social media, blogging, & illustration.

Techie talk aside, I enjoy good food, a good laugh, traveling, & reading historical fiction. I also like hangin’ out with family, friends, and my little dog, Odie (you’ll find him hanging around here too *wink*).

My job rocks because the learning opportunities are endless & my clients are made of awesome.
